A little about me...
Born and raised in Wells County, Indiana, I am extremely familiar with local organizations and I’m committed to improving the digital marketing efforts in this small piece of rural heaven.
My grade school years were spent at Northern Wells Community Schools where I developed close ties to the community and my peers. I attended Ivy Tech Community College and honed many technical skills during my time there however it was my hands-on education at local businesses that really allowed my passion for marketing and website design to develop.
During my time at Ivy Tech I met my wonderful wife Danielle and we now have two beautiful children. My personal mission is to be the best father and husband I can be to this wonderful family and CampHouse Marketing allows me to do that.
My professional career...
From my early years into adolescence, I’ve always had a passion for creative storytelling and artistic design. To my teachers (and parents) frustration I would always be caught daydreaming, doodling, or writing out stories that flitted around my thoughts.
It wasn’t until I took a chance at a local manufacturing facility I had joined a few months prior and applied for a technology/marketing position that I learned these creative skills can be put to good use. It was my responsibility to manage multiple WordPress sites, manage multiple social media profiles, and create B2B email communications which would go out to a wide network of businesses. Although I had a great marketing team to assist in content creation, it was also my responsibility from time to time to take product/personnel photos and create engaging content for a wide variety of audiences.
These skills later developed in to the CampHouse Marketing we have now.
Starting a business during the pandemic...
As many entrepreneurs know, starting a business is not easy. Uncertainty and market volatility during normal economies ensure every entrepreneur goes through the ringer before ever having earned a dollar. In March of 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic really took effect here in the United States, I was laid off from my manufacturing position.
I may not have known it at the time but this layoff created a very unique opportunity for myself and my family. Stuck at home with nothing to do, I entertained the idea of starting my own business and after valuable feedback from local business owners it was decided. CampHouse Marketing LLC was born.
Starting CampHouse Marketing has been one of the best decisions I’ve made and has brought so many business lessons and great friendships in to my life. I have dedicated myself to improving my skills in brand communications, website design, and social media management. If you’ve made it here then I want to thank you for reading about my story and I can’t wait to hear from you.
